Volume — Identifying Aggro Days
Aggro Days: trading days characterized by high trading volume and an abundance of trading opportunities due to the increase of breakouts.
You can expect an aggro day(s) when there is clean traffic in front of a daily/weekly candle that’s just broken into a new daily or weekly range. You can expect this even more when there is a wick to be filled.
With clean traffic ahead, price will seek a new rejection level — you can expect high trading volume and therefore more trading opportunities on the lower time frames as price breaks into new ranges.
As you may have seen on our livestreams, aggro days can provide some of the best positions you’ll take over the month. The key is identifying aggro days is keeping a close eye on clean traffic on the higher time frames (daily/weekly)
Furthermore there are economic events that can trigger aggro days such as high impact news. Events such as, Non-Farm Payroll, Central Bank Press Conferences e.g. Bank of Japan, Bank of England CPI, PPI, Interest Rate Decision. These will all be discussed under the fundamentals section of the course.
